Father with experience of imprisonment
We are keen to speak with people who have lived experience of being in prison as young father (aged 18-25 years). You might be recently released from prison or released a while ago so a bit older. As long as you were a young father in prison, we want to hear from you.
To discuss the study and being part of our Public Involvement group, email us at fatherstogether@ucl.ac.uk
Family member or friend of a young father in prison
We are keen to speak with family members or friends who have experienced the impact of imprisonment of a young father (aged 18-25 years). You might be a partner, parent, uncle, aunt or close friend - we are open to hear from anyone aged 18 or above. We would discuss the study with you and invite you to an individual interview with a researcher. This can be held in-person or online and you will get a voucher to thank you for your time. Email us at fatherstogether@ucl.ac.uk
Work professionally with young adults in prison
We are keen to speak with staff who work with young men in prison (aged 18-25 years) and can provide insight into the role of families and broader support needs (e.g. housing, employment). You might be a prison governor, prison officer, social worker, psychologist, resettlement worker or from the third sector. We would discuss the study with you and invite you to an individual interview with a researcher. This can be held in-person or online and you will get a voucher to thank you for your time.
We are also open to discussions with individuals who might have a particular prison in mind for this research. If you have good links with a prison and it holds young men aged 18-25 years then email us at fatherstogether@ucl.ac.uk
